How can we help?

Answers about getting started, your plan, the app, billing, and privacy.

Getting started

What Arven is and how to begin.

Arven is a personal AI training coach. It builds a training plan around your goals, experience, schedule, and equipment, guides you through every workout, records what happens, and adapts your plan as your life changes.

Unlike a workout generator, Arven keeps an ongoing coaching loop: it remembers your profile and history, answers questions with that context, and proposes changes for you to approve.

Tap Get your plan on arvenapp.com. Arven asks about your goals, training history, schedule, and equipment, then drafts a plan for you to review. You approve the plan before anything starts.

After approval you start your free trial and download the Arven app for iPhone from the App Store. Your plan is waiting when you sign in.

Arven is available as an iPhone app. An Android app is in development. Sign-up and plan approval happen on the web at arvenapp.com, and day-to-day training happens in the app.

Yes. Arven can create a starting plan and provides clear guidance and demo videos for each exercise. You don’t need to know anything to get started.

No. Arven builds your plan around the equipment available to you, whether you train at a gym, at home, or a combination of both. If your equipment or training location changes, share it and Arven will adapt your plan.

Yes. Arven is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Your plan and coaching

How your plan is built, reviewed, and updated.

Your plan and coaching are highly personalized. Your goals, experience, schedule, equipment, preferences, and constraints all shape your plan. Coaching continues to adapt based on your check-ins, training results, feedback, progress, and approved changes.

Ask about today’s workout, exercise choices, substitutions, schedule changes, progress, recovery, or anything unclear in your plan. Arven gives answers that are personalized to your profile, plan, and needs.

Open Chat in the app to ask anything. You can type or hold the microphone to speak.

No. You approve your initial plan before beginning, and longer-term changes are proposed for review. You can approve, decline, or request refinements before an update becomes active.

A plan update is a proposed change to your upcoming training, for example after a check-in, a schedule change, or a weekly review. Arven shows each affected day side by side, before and proposed, so you can see exactly what changes.

You can approve the update, decline it, or reply in Chat with what you’d like adjusted. Nothing changes until you approve.

Share whenever your schedule or needs change, and Arven adapts. It can adjust today’s session, reorganize the week, and propose longer-term plan updates while keeping your larger goal in view.

Your plan is organized into phases, each with a training focus. The Progress tab shows which phase you’re in and how far along you are, alongside your training and measurement trends.

Yes. Share any relevant injuries, pain, physical limitations, or guidance from a qualified healthcare professional, and Arven will treat them as constraints when planning your training.

Arven is a general fitness tool, not a medical care or rehabilitation service. Consult a qualified healthcare professional about injuries, concerning pain, or rehabilitation needs.

Workouts and the app

Training day to day with Arven.

Open the Today tab. Your session lists each exercise with sets, reps, and target weight, plus a demo video and coaching notes. Log each set as you go, then finish the workout to get feedback from Arven.

Yes. Tell Arven in Chat, for example “the leg press is taken, what should I do instead?”, and it will suggest a substitute that keeps the same training focus and your available equipment in mind.

Say so in Chat. Arven can condense today’s session around its highest-priority work, scale back the workload, or move pressing work later in the week so you can keep moving without forcing a full session.

Tell Arven. It reworks the rest of your week so the important work still fits, without cramming everything into the remaining days.

Today shows a rest day with any recovery guidance from your plan. You can still ask Arven questions, log measurements, and review upcoming sessions.

Open the You tab and choose Measurements to log weight and body measurements. Trends appear in the Progress tab. You can set how often Arven reminds you to measure under Notifications.

Yes. Hold the microphone in Chat to record a message. It’s transcribed to text before it’s sent, and we do not keep the raw audio after transcription.

Not currently. Arven does not connect to Apple Health, Google Health Connect, or wearables. If we add this, it will be optional and you’ll choose exactly what to share.

Account and settings

Sign-in, profile details, and notifications.

Arven uses one-time codes instead of passwords. Enter your email on the login screen and we’ll send you a code. If the code doesn’t arrive, check your spam folder and confirm you entered the email you signed up with.

Open the You tab, then Account. You can update your name, email, timezone, and unit system (metric or imperial) there.

Open the You tab, then Notifications. You can turn the daily training message on or off and choose its time, control the weekly recap, set how often you’re reminded to log measurements, and decide whether other chat messages notify you.

Open the You tab, then Account, then Delete account. You can also email support@arvenapp.com and we’ll verify the request before processing it.

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription purchased through the App Store. Cancel it in your Apple ID subscription settings first so you aren’t charged again.

Billing and subscription

Pricing, trials, cancellation, and refunds.

Your first 7 days are free. After the trial, Arven is $19.99 per month when billed annually ($239.88 per year), or $39.99 billed monthly. You can cancel anytime.

A payment method is required to start the trial. We show you the trial length, the price after the trial, and the renewal frequency before you start. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription converts to a paid plan at the disclosed price.

If you subscribed on the web, open the You tab, then Billing, and manage your subscription there, or email support@arvenapp.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and you keep access until then.

If you subscribed through the App Store, cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings. Deleting the app from your phone does not cancel a subscription.

Yes. Web subscribers can change plans from Billing in settings. App Store subscribers can change plans in their Apple ID subscription settings. If you get stuck, email us and we’ll help.

If you subscribed through the App Store, open the You tab, then Billing, and tap Restore Purchases. If you subscribed on the web, make sure you’re signed in with the same email you used at checkout.

Still not working? Email support@arvenapp.com with the email on your account and we’ll sort it out.

Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, including partial subscription periods or unused features. Cancelling stops future charges.

Purchases made through the App Store are handled by Apple under its refund policy. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Privacy and data

How your information is handled.

Yes. Your profile and training information are private to your account. Arven has no public profiles, social feeds, or public workout sharing, and we do not sell your data. See the Privacy Policy for full details.

Arven uses third-party AI providers (Anthropic and OpenAI) to generate plans, chat responses, and voice transcriptions. Relevant profile, fitness, and chat information is shared with them to produce those outputs. Under our agreements, they do not use your information to train their models.

You can review and update most of your profile in the app. To request a copy of your information, correct something you can’t edit in the app, or exercise other privacy rights, email support@arvenapp.com. We verify your identity before responding.

No. Health and fitness information you share is used only to tailor your training and coaching. We do not use it for advertising or marketing, and we treat it as sensitive under applicable privacy law.
